Aim-TTi TGF4042 – Dual-Channel Arbitrary Function Generator
The Aim-TTi TGF4042 is a high-performance dual-channel arbitrary function generator designed for precise signal generation in laboratories, research environments and automated test systems. With a frequency range from 1 µHz up to 40 MHz (sine), the instrument provides highly accurate waveform generation for a wide range of electronic testing and development applications.
The generator features two identical output channels that can operate independently, or in coupled and tracking modes, allowing engineers to generate synchronized multi-channel signals with precise phase relationships. Channel-to-channel phase alignment can be controlled with extremely fine resolution, enabling accurate timing and phase-sensitive testing.
A wide selection of built-in waveforms is available, including sine, square, triangle, ramp and pulse signals, along with user-defined arbitrary waveforms. Arbitrary waveform generation is supported with 14-bit resolution and sampling rates up to 400 MS/s, allowing accurate reproduction of complex signals.
The TGF4042 also includes extensive modulation capabilities such as AM, FM, PM, FSK, BPSK and PWM, together with sweep, burst and gated modes for advanced signal analysis. Integrated USB and LAN (LXI) interfaces enable remote control and easy integration into automated test systems, with an optional GPIB interface available for compatibility with existing equipment setups.
With its combination of precision waveform generation, flexible modulation options and dual-channel operation, the TGF4042 is ideal for electronics development, signal simulation, research laboratories and automated test applications.
