The GW Instek GCP‑2525 is a precision AC/DC current probe designed for oscilloscope measurements in industrial, automotive, and power electronics applications.

It provides a bandwidth from DC to 25 MHz and supports measurements up to 250 A peak (170 A RMS continuous), enabling accurate capture of both steady-state and fast transient currents.

The split-core clamp design allows easy attachment to conductors without interrupting the circuit, while the BNC interface ensures simple connection to compatible oscilloscopes.

Selectable conversion ratios of 10 mV/A or 100 mV/A and low-noise performance deliver precise results across a wide measurement range. The probe is powered via a 12 V DC supply and maintains reliable operation with CAT II 600 V / CAT III 300 V safety rating, making it suitable for both laboratory and field environments.
